Mahatma Gandhi University of Medical Sciences & Technology has undertaken a number of research projects throughout the years in an effort to both strongly generate novel solutions and implement the knowledge resources that are now available for study.

The MGUMST research centres collaborate to identify, initiate, and carry out applied and cross-disciplinary research projects. The university is dedicated to promoting and advancing research excellence, and both faculty and students who are actively involved in research.

It is particularly focused on developing fields with enormous potential engaged in research programs that are aimed at advancing public welfare and nation-building. Over the years, Mahatma Gandhi Occupational Therapy College (MGOTC) has undertaken a number of research projects to both strengthen creative problem-solving and utilize the knowledge resources available for research.

Because the institution is dedicated to promoting and advancing research excellence, both faculty and students actively engage in research. Particularly concentrated on emerging fields with enormous promise in the fields of neurology, pediatrics, orthopaedics, oncology, mental health, ergonomics, hand splinting, etc. Participating actively in research projects that have nation-building and public purpose at their heart, like, for instance, rural healthcare, among others.
