Placement

Being attached to a teaching hospital, placement is an advantage at MGCOHA since its inception.

Major chunk of passing out cohort is absorbed by the parent University teaching hospital. A well organized placement team streamlines the recruitment process so that students are suitably placed in jobs of their choice. Training & Placement committee at the University level collaborates with the industry and conducts events in the form of lectures, conferences and seminars which facilitate regular interaction with the corporate houses. It helps the students in charting out their career path.

The University garners its reputation for stellar placement record since inception.

100 percent students opting for placement have been placed majorly in associated hospital and beyond that both through campus placement and own efforts of students. The recruiters are from both public and corporate sectors and few of the students have started their own ventures in healthcare industry. The major areas of placement are: Hospital operations, Marketing, Quality management, research organizations, business advisory and Home healthcare services.

A substantial chunk are also pursuing higher education beyond masters degree.

Rigorous training is provided to students through a plethora of group cases, role-plays and live projects which facilitate a collaborative learning environment and helps in developing leaders with the ability to create synergy by engaging with all stakeholders and earning certifications.

MGCOHA emphasizes learning through Hospital Immersion program - enhancing in-depth exposure to Hospital services. A unique feature of the program, the12- 18 month long integrated immersion provides hands-on experience of working in the hospital and enables the students to seamlessly transit into their careers.
