The Department of Clinical Haematology at the Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Hospital is at the forefront of providing advanced medical care to patients with blood disorders in not just Rajasthan but the whole northern region of India. With a focus on both benign and malignant haematological disorders in adults and children, we offer comprehensive outpatient and inpatient services as well as super specialised treatments such as hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.
Our team of highly qualified consultants and resident doctors are dedicated to providing compassionate care to all patients, especially those with complex medical conditions. We prioritise the use of the most up-to-date technology and techniques to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients. In addition to providing treatment, we also offer an NMC recognised super specialisation degree programme in clinical haematology under DM degrees to all our trainees and students.
The Hematology tower, an eleven-story building within our campus, houses a wide range of facilities and services for patients with blood disorders. These include transfusion medicine, cell separators, HLA typing, hematopathology, histopathology, IHC, cytogenetics, FISH, NGS, bone marrow aspiration, and bone marrow biopsy. This comprehensive approach allows us to provide integrated care under one roof, making it convenient for patients to access all necessary services in one location.
In addition to our in-house services, we also conduct outreach programs in rural areas of Rajasthan to raise awareness about blood disorders, facilitate early diagnosis, and provide post-treatment follow-up care. By bringing our expertise and resources directly to these communities, we are able to ensure that even those in remote areas have access to high-quality medical care. At the Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Hospital, our commitment to excellence in clinical haematology is reflected in our academic programs, research initiatives, and patient care services. With degree courses in MBBS, MD, and over 30 super specialisation programmes, we are dedicated to training the next generation of haematologists and providing the best possible care to our patients.
Overall, the Department of Clinical Haematology at the Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Hospital is a leader in the field of blood disorders, providing advanced technology and compassionate care to patients in Rajasthan and beyond. Our comprehensive approach to diagnosis, treatment, and doorstep follow-up care in selected rural areas of Rajasthan ensures that all patients receive the highest standard of care for their condition.
